2023 was another amazing year at Walnut Farm as we hosted many more families, couples and friends in our five ensuite yurts. Our really big news was that after 23 years of working in the corporate world Nick joined the team full time in the Autumn to help drive our family business forward and make sure we can deliver all our exciting plans for 2024 – more about those shortly…
Dorset is such an fantastic place to visit during the quieter months, especially if you want to explore the rolling hills, walk along the Jurassic Coast or just get out of the rat-race for a couple of days. And, now that we have insulated our yurts, you’ll be snug and cosy even during the colder months.
With the wood-burner roaring and the electric blankets on you can keep toasty warm even during the cold snaps. And it feels so good be snuggled up in a super-king bed in a warm yurt on a winters evening. The beaches are stunning at this time of year - especially on a cold, crisp, clear day. Perfect for a dog walk!
We have lots of exiting plans a foot for 2024 – some are in the planning and dreaming stage while others are starting to take shape. We will tell you all about our fun-filled new additions and improvements soon. Watch this space!
We are really excited about all the big group bookings this year. Walnut Farm is such a great location for big gatherings of families and friends and with our swimming lake, hot tub, pizza oven, hosted BBQ evenings and local partners we can work with you to create truly memorable experiences.
As always, we would like to thank all our past, current, future and returning guests for deciding to spend their stays with us here at the farm. We are hugely grateful to you all and hope to see many more of you this year.
