"Walnut Farm Glamping was the perfect place for a hen party. The bride and all of the hens had an incredible weekend there, and Molly and Nick looked after us really well. The location is stunning, the yurts were luxurious yet rustic, and the hot tub was a great way to spend some time with a couple of proseccos! Would really recommend staying here, both for a relaxing weekend away or for a different kind of hen party!"

 

Our en-suite yurts are surrounded by cherry and apple orchards and will comfortably sleep 6 people spread across a vi-spring superking bed and four comfortable single beds each adorned with luxurious bedding and linen. There are woodburners and electric blankets to keep you warm on the chillier nights.  We provide stacks of towels for use in the en-suite bathrooms, which each house piping hot showers, sinks and proper flushing loos. Each yurt has it’s own huge sawn larch deck with large dining and seating areas and also a fire pit area with private fire bowls for campfires and barbecues.

At the heart of our site is the Cherry Orchard, which is home to communal galley seating down the avenues of trees. Lit with festoon lighting down the rows of trees is a magical place to all come together for meals and mingling. This is also where our clay pizza oven is located - there is no better place to eat a wood fired pizza.

Next to the Cherry Orchard is Homemead Field where you will find our wood fired hot tub, which is available for you to hire from just £35. Warm bubbling water, stars galore, zero light pollution and no chemicals…amazing!

We can provide breakfast hampers on each morning for an additional charge including bread, local Dorset organic cereals, organic yoghurt, fruit and croissants.

A few ideas for activities are below but we are very happy to work with you on any other requests you may have.

• Black Cow Vodka Distillery Visit - a local farm which has diversified from cheesemaking to vodka making - from milk! They offer a tour of the distillery together with a cocktail making masterclass set within the beautiful grounds of Childhay Manor.

• Lyme Bay Rib Charter - they offer a series of options ranging from trips to nearby Lyme Regis, to hour long coastal tours to 30-minute rib blasts

• Yoga session on our grass tennis court run by a fantastic local instructor – the perfect start to a day or hangover cure!

• BBQ with local meats and amazing salads or Wood Fired Pizza evening at Walnut Farm - we can host your evening meal with great food in the most beautiful, peaceful setting. We include a few bottles of wine with your dinner and provide an area for dancing - either a covered area by the kitchen yurt or the barn, location dependent on weather!

• Walk from Eype to Golden Cap (the highest point on the south coast) finishing with drinks and food at the Anchor Inn, Seaton
